Common Usages

This herb is used in formulas for its nourishing, moistening, invigorating, and soothing effects. It is used to treat insomnia, hysteria, nervous imbalances, weak digestion, anemia, and fatigue from poor metabolism; also used to help heal bruising and to enhance recovery from illness.
